Three Hanoverian Bundeschampions
Hanover heads the medals table
Hanoverian horses successfully competed at this year's Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. They earned three of the 11 titles in total, followed by Bavaria and Westphalia with each two titles.
Dark Knight by Don Crusador/Cheenook (breeder: Christine Runge, Borstel) and Heiko Klausing won the division of three-year-old stallions. The black horse will be put up for auction at the 121st Verden Elite Auction in October.
Lissaro van de Helle by Lissabon/Matcho AA (breeder: Jürgen Dittmer, Neuenkirchen) and Claudia Rüscher repeated their last year's success as this year, they won the division of four-year-old stallions. Hanover presented all medallists in this division: Sarkozy by Sandro Hit/Weltmeyer (breeder: Arno Mester, Menslage) and Eva Möller won the silver medal, bronze went to Ricky by Rubin Royal/Weltmeyer (breeder: Günter Lindwehr, Alfhausen) with Hermann Burger.
A five-year-old show jumping horse won the third Bundeschampionat title for Hanover: Quaid by Quidam's Rubin/Voltaire (breeder: Friedhelm Vehlber, Espelkamp), ridden by Johannes Ehning. The Czech-owned stallion is standing at stud at the Lower Saxonian National State Stud in Celle. Shaitaan OSF by Stolzenberg/For Future (breeder: Lutz Wimmer, Helmstedt) completed the excellent result for the Hanoverian show jumping horses. He won the Vice Championship title in this division with Frederik Knorren. Echt Stark by Escudo/Grand Ferdinand II (breeder: Daniela Stark, Lindwedel) won the bronze medal in the division of six-year-old show jumping horses with Henrik v. Eckermann.
Hanoverian dressage horses won three medals: Kira Wulferding achieved the silver medal in the division of five-year-old horses with the stallion Rosandro by Rosario/Sandro Hit (breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Steinfeld) and Christin Schütte the bronze medal with the former Verden Elite auction horse Eloy by Earl/Wendenburg (breeder: Johann Fuseler, Schiffdorf). La Noire by Londonderry/Alabaster (breeder: Heinrich Ramsbrock, Menslage) won the bronze medal in the division of six-year-old horses under Dorothee Schneider.
Escade JS by Embassy/Lehnsherr (breeder: Jürgen Stuhtmann, Winsen) became Vice Champion in the division of five-year-old event horses under Andreas Brandt and confirmed the fact that Hanoverian horses have lots of different capabilities.
